Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 3-15g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, regulates the menses and disperses Cold.
With Tao Ren and Hong Hua, for amenorrhea, pain, swelling and other symptoms associated with Blood Stasis.
With Xiang Fu, tonifies the Blood and moves Qi, for premenstrual symptoms, menstrual pain and irregular menstruation.
Rx. Salviae Miltiorrhizae Dan Shen 3-15g Invigorates and nourishes the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, clears Heat, soothes irritability, cools the Blood and reduces abscesses.
With Dang Gui, for irregular menstruation and retained lochia from Blood Stasis.
With Hong Hua, Chong Wei Zi and Tao Ren, for abdominal pain with irregular menstruation due to Blood Stasis or postpartum.
Fr. Leonuri Chong Wei Zi 3-15g Invigorates the Blood and regulates the menses
Sm. Persicae Tao Ren 4-10g Breaks up Blood Stasis, invigorates Blood circulation and drains abscesses.
Flos Carthami Hong Hua 3-10g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, opens the channels, unblocks menstruation and alleviates pain.
With Tao Ren, invigorates the Blood for all types of Blood Stagnation such as dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, swollen painful sores and chest and abdominal pain.
Caulis Spatholobi Ji Xue Teng 9-20g Invigorates and tonifies the Blood.
Rx. Dipsaci Xu Duan 6-21g Tonifies the Liver and Kidneys, stops uterine bleeding, calms the fetus, prevents miscarriage, promotes the movement of Blood, alleviates pain and reduces swellings, abscesses and sores.
Rz. Cyperi Xiang Fu 6-14g Spreads and regulates Liver Qi, regulates menstruation and alleviates pain.
Ram. Cinnamomi Gui Zhi 9-15g Warms the channels and collaterals to relieve pain, unblocks Yang, transforms Qi and thin mucus and warms and facilitates the flow of Qi through the channels and collaterals and Blood through the vessels.
